Watch Harry Styles Sing Along to Cher’s ‘Believe’ at the Met Gala

If you were in the Out Slack channel last night, you'd have thought that Cher killed someone based on the amount of rage key smashing that occured when 9pm came and went without a pink-carpet arrival by the undisputed queen of camp -- yeah, RuPaul, after showing up to the Met Gala out of drag, your crown has been revoked.

But all night guests and reporters murmured about a surprise performance and once the actual gala started, the who became clear: Cher arrived in her full camp glory to perform an ABBA medley in a giant blonde wig in front of the museum's legendary Temple of Dendur.

The crowd went wild for the pop legend, but no one more than former boy band idol and alleged bisexual icon Harry Styles, who was captured singing along to Cher's turn-of-the-millenium anthem "Believe."

We're incredibly lucky to even have these videos as Anna Wintour famously instituted a "no selfie" policy inside the Met. Thankfully none of the celebrities inside were worried about the repercussions -- although they might not find out until an invitation doesn't arrive for next year's festivities.

But despite how incredible Cher's performance was, we still feel robbed of a red carpet look. Cher has turned out some of the most memorable Met Gala looks of all time and we needed another one for the canon.
