Apparently they were more than friends forever.

As the old lyric goes, "If you wanna be my lover, you gotta get with my friends." Apparently, those words were all too true: A couple of the Spice Girls were doing a bit more than practicing their vocals.

In an appearance on "Life Stories" on Friday, Mel B (known in the group as "Scary Spice") revealed that she's gotten closer to her bandmates than the promo photos would lead us to believe. When asked whether or not she'd slept with Geri "Ginger Spice" Halliwell, she nodded.

"She is going to hate me for this because she is all posh in a country house and her husband. But it's a fact.," she said, according to a Daily Mail transcript. "It just happened and we just giggled at it and that was it." Wow. What a moment, I will never forget. A moment that is most pleasing to me in my career as a journalist.

Mel also had a few things to say about Halliwell. Boobs? Great. How many times? "Stop it, you pervert." (Ok, it was just once.) Was it love? "We were best friends." Anything else? Well there was this thing with Mel C. Wait, what?!

"It was just a silly kiss," Mel B said. Apparently, it came after she got her tongue pierced so she could know what the sensation would feel like. "Nothing sexual," she said.

All of these tidbits came about as a part of a press tour for the bisexual star's new book, Brutally Honest. And while that could breed some seeds of doubt, she seems to be sticking by it all. "Hopefully when Geri gets asked that, which hopefully she will after this, she won't deny it," she said.

All that said, this should make for a fun Spice Girls reunion tour!
