Still Here will chronical her life as one of the most woke teenagers of all time.
When I was 12, my idea of a long-term project was setting up a particularly moody photoshoot in my bathroom with a digital camera that didn't have a screen to show me how bad I looked. For someone like Rowan Blanchard, though, being 12 meant starting a long-term project that has culminated into an entire art book.
The now-15-year-old Disney star is no ordinary girl. She's the star of Girl Meets World, an activist, openly queer and has modeled for Kenzo, Chanel and Opening Ceremony. Blanchard is also intertwined in a tight-knit group of teens who are achingly cool and breaking down every barrier imaginable. It's no surprise then, that she found inspiration in them for Still Here, a personal scrapbook that's kept her up until "1 in the morning alone in [her] bedroom for the past few years," according to her Instagram post.
Since the age of 12, she's been "making, collecting, and editing various artworks" created by her and her "insanely talented friends." These friends include the poet rupi kaur, photographer Gia Coppola and writer Jenny Zhang, among others.
Blanchard's book will be out February 20, 2018 but you can pre-order it now.
