It Gets Better's Dan Levy-Inspired Pin Is Back After Selling Out Twice

Dan Levy, Kate McKinnon and Iguana

The little iguana is getting a Pride-themed flourish.

You remember it: some three months ago, Daniel Levy hosted Saturday Night Live. The skits were some of the best of the show in recent memory. In one in particular, the queer members of the cast joined Levy in spoofing the now-decade old It Gets Better campaign. The resulting snippet was hilarious, and the organization itself got in on the fun, creating an iguana pin inspired by the occasion. Now, the pins are back for Pride.

When they were first released, the little keepsakes sold out. The organization restocked them, and they sold out again. We credit it in part to Levy and the "Dan Levy effect" as the star tweeted out that the pins were available. He and his large fandom have developed a reputation for raising money for various charitable causes. This one in particular raised over $20,000 for the organization.

"It's baa-aack: pre-order the limited Pride version of the Iguana Enamel Pin...and snag a matching t-shirt while you're at it!" the organization tweeted. "Big shoutout to everyone who ordered the original pin - you helped us raise over $20,000 for our programs to support LGBTQ+ youth."

The pin is currently available for preorder for $25. Preorder ends May 17. The pins are set to ship within four weeks of preorder ending meaning that they should be in time for the end of Pride month!

In addition, there's now a tshirt option that features the same design on a black or green shirt. The item is available for $35.
