Maria Shriver was rendered completely speechless during her Today show interview with Girls creator and star Lena Dunham, and all it took was the word, "penis."
During a routine chat about the show's upcoming final season, Shriver told Dunham she had already seen the first three episodes, to which Dunham asks, "You saw a penis, right?" After Shriver tried to not-so-nimbly carry on the conversation it devolved quickly into semi-hysterics, with Dunham apologizing and even saying the "p-word" again.
"That's just the difference between generations," Shriver told Dunham, "I wasn't brought up talking like that."
If Shriver can be reduced to mild hysterics with the mention of penis, imagine what it will take for today's younger generation to blush on national television. Watch, below.
