In a two-minute trailer released this morning, Netflix flaunted the off-beat aesthetic of A Series of Unfortunate Events, which premieres January 13.
Joan Cusack, Catherine O'Hara, and Alfre Woodard make cameos in the trailer and give more of a glimpse into the crazy situations the Baudelaire children find themselves in. Fans of the book series will recognize the sunny abodes of Justice Strauss and Uncle Monty, Aunt Josephine's mysterious library, the gold telescope, and the secret code used by the Baudelaires' parents.

After dedicating his entire life to hockey, coming out as a trans man, and starting an acting career, Browne still struggled to land roles on hockey-themed movies and TV shows.
