Han Solo Strikes Back, Younger and Sexier

Now that our appetites are duly whetted for the next Star Wars movie Rogue One (check out the fabulous teaser trailer featuring Felicity Jones here, ICYMI), we are stupid excited for the next standalone spinoff in the SW universe, coming in 2018: the Han Solo prequel.

The young and beguiling Alden Ehrenreich sure looks the part--the offbeat star of the overlooked YA spookfest Beautiful Creatures in 2013 and this year's Coen brothers opus Hail Caesar! is said to have beaten out the likes of Miles Teller, Dave Franco, Ansel Elgort, Jack Reynor, Scott Eastwood, Logan Lerman, Emory Cohen, Taron Egerton, Jack O'Connell, and Blake Jenner for the coveted role.

No word yet on the specifics of this origin story, but suffice it to say that Han Solo is a favorite character and household name among Star Wars fans worldwide. Here's hoping we get a look at a young Chewie too.
