Sailor Moon Has a New Mission: Educating You on Sexual Health

Sailor Moon creator Naoko Takeuchiand and the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) are partnering to educate viewers about STDs, STIs, and HIV/AIDS with Sailor-themed posters, pamphlets, and condoms.

According to Nylon, the MHLW will distribute 5,000 posters and 156,000 pamphlets educating women on good sex practices like wearing protection and how to get medical help from local clinics. In addition, the program will create and dole out 60,000 Sailor Moon condoms--just one more reason to practice safe sex!
