"'We Are The World'-type songs are tired, but Donald Trump is a garbage fire and the worst presidential candidate we've ever seen," sings Rachel Bloom, accompanied by stars from Glee, Jane the Virgin, Modern Family, and other popular TV shows and movies. Bloom, who co-produced Funny or Die's "Holy Sh*t (You've Got to Vote)" with DJ Moby and Pitch Perfect actress Elizabeth Banks, put together the video in order to convince people to vote on Election Day this Tuesday.
"If this video motivates one person, especially in a swing state, to just get out there, then it will have been worth it. I just personally didn't want to say I did nothing. I wanted to say I tried," Bloom told Entertainment Weekly.
Uniting a hodgepodge of people from entertainment backgrounds ranging from Broadway to TV, the video uses music and a smattering of impressive insults directed at Trump to parodize preachy music videos and convince the public to, well, vote for Hillary.
"'Cause what are you gonna do, throw your vote away on a third party? I mean, I guess you technically could, it's your right, but still," Bloom says at the end of the video.
The star-studded cast includes Adam Scott, Amber Rose, Mayim Bialik, Misha Collins, Felicia Day, and Naya Rivera among other talented artists. Watch the full music video below:
