The song is from the band Low Cut Connie's recent album, Hi Honey.
Although straight, Low Cut Connie's singer and pianist Adam Weiner cut his teeth playing piano at different gay bars in New York City, so for the band's video for the song "Little Queen Of New Orleans," they decided to feature drag queen Madison Banks. (The song and video features Merrill Garbus of Tune-Yards, as well.) The song is a catchy, rollicking ditty that we think should be played on repeat. Now, if it could ever be featured on Drag Race is another matter...
