Eight women have accused the actor of sexual harassment and inappropriate behavior.

Morgan Freeman has been accused of sexual harassment and inappropriate behavior by eight women in a sprawling CNN expose co-written by one of the women the actor reportedly harassed.

16 people spoke with CNN about Freeman's behavior, half of whom were witnesses. A production assistant on Freeman's 2017 film Going in Style said that the actor "subjected her to unwanted touching and comments about her figure and clothing on a near-daily basis. Freeman would rest his hand on her lower back or rub her lower back, she said."

A production member on Freeman's 2012 film Now You See Me said that the actor would comment on women's bodies. "We knew that if he was coming by ... not to wear any top that would show our breasts, not to wear anything that would show our bottoms, meaning not wearing clothes that [were] fitted."

Chloe Melas, the co-author of CNN's article, said she was harassed by Freeman when attending a press junket for Going in Style. Melas was pregnant at the time and Freeman reportedly said several times that "I wish I was there," while looking her up and down. One of these instances was captured on camera.

Freeman has yet to respond to the accusations.
