Orlando Survivor Recalls Attack, Asks for Gun Control Three Months Later

Orlando, Pulse Nightclub, Chris Hansen

“The boy who I was…is no longer there.”

It's hard to imagine it's already been three months since the tragic mass-shooting at Pulse nightclub in Orlando.

In a new video for the Guns Down campaign, survivor Chris Hansen vividly recalls his experience when the gunman opened fire and began his rampage that would eventually leave 49 dead.

"I don't know if you have a group of friends that you go out with," Hansen said, "but when you go out with the, you never think, 'this is the last time I'm going to have a sip with them, or this is the last time I'm going to dance with them."

Hansen remembers crawling out of the club and immediately turning around to help take care of the scared and wounded that were pouring out of the club. Watch the heart-wrenching video below.
