Close portrays Joan, the wife of Jonathan Pryce's character Joe, who follows her husband to Stockholm as he accepts fiction's biggest award.

"My wife doesn't write, thank God. Otherwise I'd suffer permanent writers' block," Joe teases in the clip, as Close broods in the background. The film is directed by Bjorn Runge and based off of the 2003 novel by Meg Wolitzer. It premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and has been garnering Close rave reviews--incidentally, she's the most-nominated living actor in history to have not won an Oscar. It is time that justice was served.
