Rules were made to be broken, right? While the edicts of no white shoes after Labor Day and never mixing navy and black have long since fallen to the wayside, denim-on-denim has been remained on as a sartorial no-no. And yet Scott Sternberg proved that sometimes a little bit of rebellion can prove good for the status quo. At his Band of Outsiders show last night, the designer sent out a look of a matching light chambray shirt paired with matching jeans, as part of his Western collection. And, from the audience, it didn't seem bad. In fact, it looked quite cool. If this look is wrong, then I don't want to be right.
