We knew that Jim Parsons dreamed of being a Muppet. But it looks like he got to be an animated elf first. The new NBC special, Elf: Buddy's Musical Christmas, has Parsons voicing a stop-motion version of Buddy the Elf and Mark Hamill as his disgruntled father. The retelling of the hit Will Ferrell movie seems to be a great fit for the Big Bang Theory star. He gets to be goofy and sing things like: "Never stop until each limb on your Christmas tree as sparkly-jolly-twinkle-jingly!" What could be better? Maybe if Scott Thompson's Buddy character from Kids in the Hall made a cameo as a gay Uncle Buddy elf. Yeah, that would be amazing.
