The Video Tour of "Savage Beauty," For Those Who Missed It

Sadly, all good things must come to an end, and that was the case for the Met's Alexander McQueen exhibit "Savage Beauty," has finally closed. The past week, as we mentioned, saw people surging the museum to inspect the designer's finest creations up close. The final count of those who attended totaled a whopping 601,509, making it the eighth most visited show in the Met's history and the most popular show presented by the Costume Institute.

For those of you who were not able to make it or weren't willing to wait in the six-hour lines this weekend, there is a constellation prize. Below is a video of the exhibition, narrated by the curator Andrew Bolton (which, to be frank, is incredibly informative and something we didn't get when we went!) While you may not get the full experience of seeing McQueen's macabre and majestic work up close and personal, this definitely gives you a great sense of what the show was like.
