Andrew Mukamal: New York Fashion Week Day 2

Spent most of the day yesterday recapping the first night of New York Fashion Week, finalizing some things for our upcoming shows next week and dancing to Rihanna's "Rude Boy" at my desk (seriously haven't stopped watching this video for the past two days -- Kelly's even starting to warm up to it haha).

One of the big highlights of the day was the delivery of the Christian Louboutin for Davidelfin shoes for his A/W 2010/2011 collection. Out of control platform leather/suede buckled booties and Mary Janes with the same crazy heel and shape as David's blue glitter ankle boots from last season -- swoon.

As the day went on I clicked through the days shows, anxious to see what trends are starting to appear for next fall. Quick shout out to the boys are Rag & Bone whose urban neo-grunge collection was highlighted by long plaid flannel shirts and loads of black leather. Grabbed a drink with Skinner and Kelly at Lucky Strike, our go-to spot, as we waited for our client, David Delfin, to meet us before we headed over to TriBeCa Grand, where People's Revolution was helping out our friends at Seven NY with their mega-bash.



Although the hotel was packed with loads of fashion types for Seven's 10th Anniversary, the People's Revolution crew held it down in a back corner booth with the likes of fashion blogger-turned icon BryanBoy, Henry Holland, David Delfin and Pixie Geldof. Called it a night and headed uptown just after 2. Check back in tomorrow for more news from NYFW.
