Kelsey Grammer may be the next to cash in with the undying cultural obsession with reboots. Deadline reports that Grammer is "fielding interest" in bringing back his beloved (to some, hm) 90s sitcom. With the Will & Grace reboot a hit and Murphy Brown coming back to CBS this fall, the time could be ripe for the return of more Must See TV...but really, another reboot?
Deadline suggests that Fraiser's return would be as a true reboot "likely [be] set in a new city." Grammer is said to be meeting with various writers who are all pitching ideas for the new series. Here's an idea: make Niles gay this time. Please? David Hyde Pierce has been out since 2007 and Daphe would be amazing as a jilted beard.
