Shannon Purser, better known as Barb from Stranger Things, is back from the dead (and the Upside Down) in the new Netflix film Sierra Burgess Is a Loser. As the title character, Burgess hatches up a plot directly plagiarized from The Truth About Cats & Dogs, catfishing a cut classmate with the help of the school's popular girl.

This is literally the same plot of 90s romantic comedy The Truth About Cats & Dogs, starring Janeane Garofalo and Uma Thurman, only set and high school and probably with less animals.

Sierra Burgess Is a Loser premieres on Netflix September 7.
