MTV is Rebooting Daria

Following last week's news that MTV is rebooting AEon Flux as a live-action TV show, the network has revealed that they'll be bringing back a stripped-down version of The Real World and a reboot of iconic 90s animated series Daria, according to Variety. You're standing on my neck -- again!

Inside Amy Schumer writer Grace Edwards is taking the reigns on the revival, which is tentatively titled Daria & Jodie -- ugh, really? -- and will revolve not only around sullen teen Daria but also overachiever Jodie Landon, boyfriend of football player Mack Mackenzie and one of the few black students at Lawndale High.
