Never one to skimp on a bit of buzzworthy controversy, instead of putting his foot in his mouth this time around, Kanye West is letting some notorious photography do all the heavy lifting.

West, who is producing Pusha T's upcoming album, Daytona, tweeted the cover art on Thursday, revealing it to be a 2006 photo of the late legend Whitney Houston's bathroom cluttered with drug paraphernalia. According to EW, the photo was taken by a family member of Houston's and then ran in the National Enquirer that same year, when the icon was struggling with addiction.

Pusha T said the imagery "definitely does match the energy of my album." Adding, "I feel like the cover represents an organized chaos."

On The Angie Martinez show, Pusha T shared that the photograph was a last-minute decision by West, also saying that West told him the photo cost $85,000. It's unclear who West paid for the rights to the photo. Daytona is out today.
