Ricky Martin is Speedo-Clad in New American Crime Story Images

Just in case you ever wondered what the gay lover of a globally recognized fashion designer looked like, Ricky Martin is here to enlighten you.

In a new set of still images teasing the upcoming season of American Crime Story titled The Assassination of Gianni Versace, Martin leaves little to the imagination. Colorful lights dramatically illuminate the actor, who plays Antonio D'Amico, in a loose white Versace robe and tight bathing suit.

The real D'Amico, who lived through the tragic death of his lover in 1997, has been vocal about his distaste for the upcoming Ryan Murphy series. "The picture of Ricky martin holding the body in his arms is ridiculous," D'Amico told The Observer. "Maybe it's the director's poetic license, but that is not how I reacted. There has been so much written about the murder, and thousands of suppositions, but not a trace of reality." American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace premieres January 17 on FX.
