Two Female Bachelor Contestants Leave the Show For Each Other

Last-minute rose ceremony surprises are a well established phenomenon in the Bachelor Cinematic Universe (BCU) -- who can forget the Bachelor in Paradise drama? But never before have two contestants turned down the Bachelor for each other, and that's exactly what happened this week on The Bachelor: Vietnam.

When contestant Minh Thu realized she wouldn't be receiving a rose and would be going home, she explained to bachelor Nguyen Quoc Trung that she'd connected with someone during the show -- and it wasn't him. "I went into this competition to find love and I've found that love for myself, but it isn't with you. It's with someone else," she said. She then turned to fellow contestant Truc Nhu, asking her to leave the show and come home with her. The two women held each other, and Trung let Nhu know that despite the revelation, he still wanted her to stay, but that "You only get one chance in this life and you need to take it." And Nhu took his advice, leaving with Trung.

But this isn't where the story ends: according to Next Shark, Nhu and Trung talked later in the show and Nhu decided to stay and continue pursuing him. Poor Nguyen Quoc Trung!
