Empire BAE and Out cover star Jussie Smollett is currently catching some Zzzz's on a long-haul flight to Australia. How do we know? The actor/singer tweeted a selfie right before putting on his eye mask, as he travels Down Under to shoot his next movie.

Smollett was cast in Ridley Scott's Alien: Covenant, the latest installment in the Alien franchise, due out in 2017. He shares the top billings with Michael Fassbender and Billy Crudup.

This is Smollett's first forray into Hollywood blockbuster territory since 1994's North with Elijah Wood, which bombed at the box office. Well, Smollett is all grown up now, and we can't wait to see the first images from the set. The thought of Jussie kicking some alien ass is giving us thirst like:
