David Cronenberg & Bruce Wagner discuss the literary underpinnings of L.A.
The creative duo behind the filmMaps to the Stars -- director David Cronenberg and screenwriter Bruce Wagner -- discuss the debt Hollywood owes to literature. The film, which stars Julianne Moore and Mia Wasikowska, is plenty strange, thanks in large part to Wagner, an author of many books that takes aim at Beverly Hills culture and the people who populate the movie landscape.
In this clip, they visit a favorite haunt, Book Soup in L.A. (where they find Cronenberg's first novel, which he autographs).
Maps to the Stars is now playing in theaters.
