Out singer-songwriter Steve Grand made good on his promise to attend the Marine Corps Ball with Sgt. Tanner White, who adorably asked Grand to the annual event via YouTube.
Grand, happy to oblige, responded with a video of his own, and on Tuesday night he Instagrammed their date:

It being Veteran's Day and all, and only four years after the official repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell," it's really heartening to see an out servicemember able to take the date of his choice to the Marine Corps Ball. And kudos to Steve Grand for living up to that "All-American Boy" moniker.
