CupcakKe Turns Up the Heat in "Hot Pockets" Video

A departure from previous releases like her raunchy classic "Duck Duck Goose," CupcakKe subdues much of her NSFW style in exchange for a more demure and domineering persona in the new video for her single, "Hot Pockets."

Announced as her "tour de force opera" by a sequined drag queen in its introduction, the music video officially begins once a sheer, black-clad CupcakKe sets foot on a brightly lit auditorium stage.

As the video progresses, what seems to be an elaborate production centered on the Chicago rapper's affluent indulgences becomes anxious performances on part by a series men eager for the attention of CupcakKe's glittering eyes and cash waving hands.

CupcakKe has not completely abandoned her hypersexual identity in this video, but "Hot Pockets" and her earlier single, "Quiz," mark a new direction for CupcakKe keen on exhibiting her rapping prowess and higher budget this era before releasing the erotic music she has come to be associated with.

"Hot Pockets" is expected to be featured on CupcakKe's as of yet unnamed album which follows the January release of Ephorize.
