Are we living in the Golden Age of Hilary Duff, or at least experiencing a Duff renaissance? That was a rhetorical question because the answer is yes, mama!
If you're not aware, the Lizzie McGuire legend is currently stealing every scene she's in on Younger, one of the most slept-on and batshit insane shows on television. And let's not forget that only a few years ago, Duff contributed an incredible treasure to the canon of pop music with "Sparks," a song so powerful that it has two music videos. And let's not forget that Hilary Duff is a thicc legend who is bulking in order to protect queers everywhere --her mind and her behind!
And now the Age of Duff has a new era: Serious Actress Duff. The former tween idol is taking on a serious dramatic role in The Haunting of Sharon Tate, in which she'll play the titular tragic icon who was the most famous of Charles Manson's victims. Tate, the wife of Rosemary's Baby director Roman Polanski, was pregnant when the Family invaded her home and murdered her and four other victims, one of whom will be played by Mean Girls (and "thank u, next") star Jonathan Bennet.
The Haunting of Sharon Tate is not to be confused with the other Manson movie, Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, which will star Margot Robbie as Tate and will probably have a much bigger budget.
The Haunting of Sharon Tate does not yet have a release date but we are ready!
