Ever the controversial performer, one of James Franco's recent roles is that of Michael Glatze. Glatze was a gay activist who found god and became the face of the ex-gay movement. After denouncing homosexuality, he went on to marry a woman.
The highly anticipated feature is finally getting a release date two years after its premiere at Sundance. It's being deemed as some of Franco's best work, at the helm of King Cobra writer/director Justin Kelly. The film also stars Zachary Quinto, Emma Roberts, and Daryl Hannah.
