Marc Jacobs, Movie Star?

Last week designer wunderkind Marc Jacobs attended the WSJ Magazine Innovator of the Year awards to present his friend and collaborator Katie Grand with a prize (by the way, if you'd like to read about the stylist and fashion consultant Grand, you can do so here). He chatted with Style.com about his annual Halloween party and such, but most interestingly, he spoke about an upcoming acting role.

"I got cast in a role in a movie. They're filming next week and I'm excited. I get to play a character that's not myself at all."

Who knew that beneath the beating heart of a designer lay a thespian? No word on the specifics on IMDb so we'll be keeping an eye and an ear out to figure out more details.
