Need To Know: Dev

Dev (born Devin Tailes) was discovered by producer-songwriter duo The Cataracs after she posted a cover of an Amy Winehouse track on her MySpace page. The three then teamed up for Dev's song "Booty Bounce,"which the Cataracs sampled for Far East Movement's number one hit single "Like a G6." Since then, Dev has been busy churning out more singles, including "Bass Down Low," and touring the country with Out favorite Jeffree Star and hit magnet Usher, her current tour mate.

We caught up with Dev a few weeks ago to chat about her upcoming album, The Night The Sun Came Up, due out in September, life on the road, how success has changed her (or hasn't), and more:

For more on Dev, including a full list of upcoming tour dates, visit her official website, her official MySpace page, and follow her on Twitter. To download Dev's music, head to iTunes.
