BarneysNew York is a luxury super-store, and looked at as the gold standard in the world of high-end retail. So when the freshly-appointed CEO Mark Lee (above, center, with his new crew) went on a hiring rampage and realigned the top corporate positions, you better believe that fashion insider's ears perked up. Now, if you go to the Barneys website, you can already start to see the influence that Lee and his team will have. The site is streamlined, definitely less clunky than it used to be, and has a bit more of an editorial feel (thanks Dennis Freedman!). There is also a "micro-site" called The Window (Oy! Just call it a blog already!) which will be updated with exclusive daily content straight from the mouths of Barneys' powerful friends.
