Chloë Sevigny and Kristen Stewart, Lovers Who Plot Murder in 'Lizzie'

In Lizzie, a new retelling of the Lizzie Borden murder story, Golden Globe Award winner Chloe Sevigny and Kristen Stewart plot away in Massachusetts, period clothing and all.

Sevigny plays Borden who seems to get back at her horrible father and stepmother by planning their murder with Stewart who plays her maid and lover. Directed by Craig William Macneill, Lizzie is an indie film take on the story that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. The aim of the film is to "focus on how [Borden] went about finding [her freedom] and how important that was to her and what that meant to her," Sevigny told the Huffington Post. Lizzie will be released in select theaters September 14.
