Yes, Aquaria Is Still the Best Melania Trump Impersonator Ever

Aquaria as Melania Trump.

And her latest lip sync to the First Lady's PSA is only further proof.

Melania Trump has a public service announcement (PSA) just for you, and so does her doppleganger. After making a standout impression of the First Lady in RuPaul's Drag Race season 10, Aquaria has picked the mantle back up. Now, she's helping to spread the word about the coronavirus.

"Today I want to speak with you about coronavirus and what it means to you and your family," Trump said in a PSA released Thursday morning. Aquaria's version was released Thursday night with the drag performer in a replica look lip syncing to Trump's words via TikTok. "While changes need to be made now, this is not how we will live forever."

Aquaria notably played Melania Trump during her season's Snatch Game challenge. She put on a white dress with flouncy sleeves, and accessorized it up with diamonds. The episode marked one of the first times that the judges got to see the contestant's humor in a big way. She played on the Trump pee tape scandal and the idea that the real Melania is begging to be saved. And then there was the line that became an instantly iconic quotable: "Any hole is a goal!" The performance ended up winning Aquaria the challenge, which is a mainstay of the show, and no doubt was still on everyone's mind when she took home the win at the end of the season.

But this has always been a bit of a long time coming apparently. According to Yahoo, Aquaria had made a Melania mix pre-election spliced with Lady Gaga and Lana Del Ray songs. And then there was the post-Drag Race, post-election Melania photoshoot. If you haven't gotten the point yet, it's simple: Aquaria is the expert. So it's no surprise that even in quick drag she could pull off a convincing First Lady.

"Remember," Trump says in the voice over. "While many of us are apart, we are all in this together." Aquaria takes the can-not-miss opportunity to throw in some High School Musical choreography. A true professional.
