In a series of now-deleted Instagram Stories, singer and actor Demi Lovato declared that she's done with touring in support of her music.
"I'm so f***ing sick I can't get out of bed," she wrote over a picture looking out a hotel room window. "I can't do this anymore. This next tour will be my last. I love and thank you guys."
She added another Insta Story that read, "Gonna power thru it for you guys," along with the sick emoji and black heart emoji. "I'll need help singing so loud for me bb's!!"
"I barely have a voice, I'm gonna be pointing the mic to the audience a lot tonight," she also wrote.
Lovato was able to perform last night at her show in Santiago, Chile and she has 25 tour dates throughout the U.S. left on her current Holy Fvck tour. She returns to the tour next week on the 22nd in Sacramento, California.
After her show last night, she posted to her Instagram Stories again, this time to thank their fans. "You guys reeeeeally pulled thru tonight," she wrote. "Thank you sooo f*cking much - I love you more than you know."
Lovato came out as nonbinary last year and updated her pronouns on Instagram to be she/her and they/them. However, in a recent interview with the Sprout podcast, she said that she's been favoring one of those pronouns over the other recently.
"I've actually adopted the pronouns of she/her again with me," Lovato said in the episode.
This year, Lovato released her eighth studio album, Holy Fvck, which is a return to her rock and punk roots. One standout track is "29," which delves into her former relationship with actor Wilmer Valderrama, who started dating her when she was 17, and he was 29.
