Dan Levy Makes Sexiest Man Alive List, Oils Legs for Shoot

Dan Levy on a red carpet.

We are very much into this era of sexy.

Looks like Daniel Levy's year just keeps getting better. After a tear-inducing final season of his show Schitt's Creek, and a history-making night at the Emmy Awards, Levy has logged another personal first. With the upcoming issue the Schitt's Creek creator is making his debut on People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive list.

"This form of sexy is a niche market," the actor, who has a role in the upcoming holiday film Happiest Season, said in the issue. And we are completely into that niche!

On Instagram Levy admitted that he oiled his legs up for the shoot which features him doing things that he's been doing in quarantine like taking out the trash, walking his dog and baking. According to the star, he's tried sourdough bread, banana bread, and various types of cookies, none of which came out the way he intended.

"All it did for me was remind me myself that I should be saving my money and putting it towards ordering food so that someone can do it for me," he said. And given his ABC deal was a reported eight-figures, he probably has a bit to put way.

But like the rest of us, quarantine has also led Levy to binge TV. He's done every season of Insecure and Normal People. He's also watched Real Housewives of Atlanta and Below Deck Mediterranean. As for Tiger King, which millions streamed earlier this year, he tried a few episodes before jumping ship.

The star's social media followers also know that while cooped up, he's been taking a virtual indigenous studies course via the University of Alberta. That ended recently and he's now raising money to support the faculty. Levy will also be making an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday.
