Zachary Quinto and Boyfriend Miles McMillan Have Broken Up

It's a sad day for gay love: Zachary Quinto and boyfriend Miles McMillan have called it quits after six years of dating, according to report by People. A source close to the former couple says "they amicably split earlier this year."

While Quinto's representative hasn't confirmed the breakup and neither of the men have confirmed the news on social media, the pair were seen at separate Oscars parties over the weekend: Quinto attended the high-profile Vanity Fair gala while McMillan watched Elton John and Taron Egerton perform "Tiny Dancer" at John's annual Academy Awards function.

Quinto and McMillan confirmed their relationship in 2013 and might have gotten engaged last year -- Quintino shared a photo of the couple on Instagram in which he was wearing a ring, but an engagement was never confirmed. In 2016 the American Horror Story star was also spotted wearing what looked to be an engagement ring, though he later explained that sometimes a ring is just a ring. "It's a vintage ring that I bought as a gift for Miles and because we were not together on this long press tour I was like, 'I am going to take that ring because I love it,'" he later told E! News. "But the only finger it fit on was my ring finger on my left hand so I didn't think much of it."

The couple had "talked about" getting hitched after gay marriage was confirmed by the Supreme Court in 2015. "We love each other and we talk about it, but we have no immediate plans," Quinto told E! News.

Last year, the couple gave Architectural Digest a tour of their gorgeous NoLita apartment, decorated with McMillan's crystal collection and Tennessee Williams' cocaine dish. Who got that in the split?
