Somehow Robyn Crawford's admission that she and the late Whitney Houston wanted to pull up and fight Wendy Williams has people speculating that the two are in a relationship. To be fair, that's how most of my relationships have started!
Houston's former assistant and lover Crawford was a recent guest on Williams' talk show, where the two discussed Crawford's recently published memoir,A Song for You: My Life with Whitney Houston. During the chat, she revealed that Crawford and Houston had talked about getting the jump on Williams after hearing her talking about Houston on her radio show.
"We're sitting in the car and Whitney would say, 'Who the [she censored herself]... Who is this woman? I don't even know what she looks like,'" Crawford recalled. "Our plan was to go down to Hudson Street and squat... waiting for you."
Apparently this exchange has led gossip websites to speculate that Crawford and Williams are now an item, something Williams addressed on her talk show Tuesday.
"I am no lesbian," said the host. "I like women for friendship. I like men and I like the D."
"They title [sic] the article, 'Wendy's been looking for female companionship and Whitney's rolling over in her grave because Wendy has found it in Robyn Crawford,'" Williams continued. "I'm like, first of all, I'm not down with that. All due respect to the lesbians. And Robyn is married, she's got kids and I'm not a homewrecker! I've never even been curious. It's so complicated being a woman. I can't imagine two of us in a relationship."
"Yesterday after the show, I got the surprise of my life: At 55, I got a period," she added. "I can't deal with two women!"
All due respect to lesbians, indeed.
