"We've always wanted to have a brick and mortar store.  Now that we have expanded our collection and are introducing so many new styles it just made sense to have a venue for customers to try on our goods and see the entire collection in person.  And of course the fact that this is happening right around the holiday season only added more incentive to make our goods more widely available to the public. "

"Before Ernest Alexander, I worked in fashion advertising.  Being around so many great brands inspired me to create something myself.  My grandmother and great grandmother were seamstresses and I always dreamed of someday creating a company that worked with manufacturing in America."

"Our brand is very much inspired by the city we design and manufacture in.  We wanted a space that reflected that.  The original brick walls and beams that are exposed in our space echoed our use of traditional craftsmanship in our products.  We won't be altering the original space too much, adding rows and racks of our assorted goods, and various tools and sketches that tell the story of our design process."
