Life's tough for Patrick (Jonathan Groff) at least when it comes to men and dating. It's becoming clear that he is a "foot-in-mouth" kind of guy, speaking before fully thinking about what he's saying. In the premiere, Patrick talked about cruising while on a first date and in the second episode, he brought up his recent Google search about Mexican dicks. This did not settle well with Richie and, needless to say, left Patrick searching for comfort in a bowl of mac-n-cheese.
But the date wasn't a total disaster. Before admitting to googling "uncut Latin cocks," Patrick got tipsy and did his best punching-the-air dance moves. Let's hope this was an acting choice and not how Groff dances in real life.
While Patrick contemplated kale salads, Dom found that comfort was one Grindr message away (and, apparently, a few floors down). However, even this hookup (played by Broadway's Andrew Keenan-Bolger) couldn't cover up the wounds left by his ex-boyfriend. That's the thing about Grindr tricks, they cum and they go but they don't stick around to clean up the mess.
Meanwhile, in Oakland, Augustin continued to play house with Frank. However, things took a turn for the boring when Augustin realized living together meant staying in and marathoning TV. The thrill of the threesome has passed and now it's just him, Frank, and a box of pizza.
