Chris ''Captain America' Evans Supports Marriage Equality for All

The sexy star says that in 10 years we'll be ashamed that gay marriage was an issue

We never get tired of looking at Chris Evans (in fact, it was the ONLY reason you should have watched the romcom What's Your Number, despite how much we enjoy an Anna Faris moment of comedy). And since Mr. Captain America is making the rounds in preparation for the Avengers (including this sexy Details cover shoot), he also gave an interview to Playboy. At least he used it to say something good when he was asked if he supported marriage equality.

"Are you kidding me? It's insane that civil rights are being denied people in this day and age," Evans responded in the Playboy interview. "It's embarrassing, and it's heartbreaking. It goes without saying that I'm completely in support of gay marriage. In 10 years we'll be ashamed that this was an issue."

The 30-year-old old actor has a younger brother, Scott Evans, who he accidentally outed to The Advocate in 2009.
