“There’s so much in the world you don’t know. You just have to be receptive, open, and ready for it.”

In 2012, Cooper Cheatham founded the Gay and Lesbian Alliance for Spirited Sipping. The charity works with local LGBTQ organizations such as the LGBT center to aid with liquor sponsorships, events, volunteer work, and fundraising.

In 2013, Cooper also started his own consulting business, Double Barrel Consulting, and supported himself doing that. The business was a marketing and event consulting service with a diverse background in spirits and brand experience.

Recently, Cooper was presented with the opportunity to work for Freehand Hotels as director of culture and programming. He's now glad to be stationary in New York City and with an amazing job. "15 years ago, I never could have imagined, dreamed, or conceptualized to be living the life I have," he said.

Find out more about Cooper in the fifth episode of The Six Pack, presented by Coors Light.
