Power 50: Nate Silver

The statistician with a knack for predicting political elections (and just about everything else) is back in the limelight, tweaking his polling-based forecasts. Although his FiveThirtyEight web site lacks some of the luster it once had when it was at TheNewYorkTimes, 2016 may be yet another year when Silver is the king of the nerds as politicos flock to him for prognostications.
