When the news broke that Mark Wahlberg had been paid $1.5 million for the Kevin Spacey-induced reshoots for All the Money in the World while Michelle Williams made under $1000 -- less than 1% of Wahlberg's salary -- the outrage Hollywood's gender pay gap was vocal. How could the star of a huge Hollywood film with be payed such a ludicrous sum in the face of Wahlberg's hefty salary?

In response to the fallout, Wahlberg announced this weekend that he had donated the $1.5 million to the Time's Up Legal Defense Fund -- the organization providing legal support to victims of sexual harassment and violence -- in Williams' name.

Following Wahlberg's announcement, Williams responded in a statement thanking both Wahlberg and his agency, WME, who also donated a large sum to Time's Up.

Now if only Wahlberg would explain why he thought it was alright to co-star in a film with Mel Gibson...
