Blade Runner 2049 has a new trailer that gives us even more bloody shots of Ryan Gosling staring into the dying orange sun than we could have ever asked for.
The film picks up several decades into the future, and centers on Gosling's character, Officer K, trying to track down Harrison Ford's Agent Deckard—the role he'll reprise from the 1982 original film, as Earth teeters on the verge of collapse. Blade Runner 2049 is directed by Denis Villeneuve, who's previously known for such thrillers as Arrival and Sicario.
In the trailer, we see Gosling, Ford, Jared Leto, and Robin Wright looking grim as they attempt to save humanity from certain doom. Sadly, we'll have to wait until October 6 to find out if they do. But check out the new clip, below:
