NYC Nightlife Queens Read Models to Support Mr. Gay Syria

In a new video to assist in finding safe havens for contestants of Mr. Gay Syria--the international queer beauty pageant--NYC nightlife notables Ladyfag, Sophia Lamar and Connie Flemming are shown as doormen, throwing shade at top models trying to get inside. The ultimate message: they don't get let in until they put on Mr. Gay Syria caps.

These aren't regular party guests not getting permitted in--they're gorgeous models and performers--but the message is simple and important: help Mr. Gay Syria contestants find refuge in Canada and America.

Grindr, Visionaire World and We Are 1+Together collaborated on this short film and assisted in the releasing of a longer film War Within, which follows a gay Muslim man who wrestles with his sexuality, religion and finding love both romantically and with his family.

There's a petition to help the contestants find asylum, and gives more information about the cause. Watch shade get thrown, below.
