Maryland high school student Myren, aka MyrenThaPimp on the Twitters, tweeted a photo of his prom date over the weekend and it went viral AF.

In the tweet, the young spiritual pimp explained that even though his parents told him he couldn't go to prom with his boyfriend, he got cute and went anyway.

The 17-year-old's parents found out he was bisexual after they saw some texts from his boyfriend and have since disapproved of their relationship, trying their best to keep them apart.

"They wanted me to end things with him and they tried grounding me to keep us from talking, but no matter what we found a way to talk," Myren told BuzzFeed News. "My parents won't let me see him. It's like I'm already living on punishment, so what do I have to lose by going to prom?"

Not a goddamn thing, so the couple started saving up money for suits and tickets to the prom, which just so happened to fall on their seven month anniversary. Still, Myren kept hoping that his parents would have a change of heart, though they never did. Therefore, once the special night came it was somewhat of a bittersweet experience for him.

"Everyone's mom was standing there taking pictures of their kids, talking about how beautiful they looked and how they were so proud of them," he said. "I imagined what my mom would have looked like taking pictures of me in my suit. Everyone at the send-off was a stranger to me except my boyfriend. None of his family came to his send-off either."

Twitter, however, sent the pair off with thousands of users liking and retweeting their prom photo.

"I was surprised when I noticed that people were proud of me and that they respected the decision I had made," Myren said, though he noted some reactions were negative. "I didn't invest so much in prom for people's opinions, I did it to have a great night with my boyfriend."

Even without either of their parents' approval, Myren and his boyfriend at least had that.

"When we were dancing together I teared up some because there were times where I never thought we would go to prom," Myren added, "but there we were."
