On this Earth Day remember that twenty years ago mankind was on the brink of fictional extinction from alien invaders. We managed to fend them off and even use their technology to advance our civilization. But none of that may be enough when they return to finish what they started.
In the latest trailer for Independence Day: Resurgence we get a little more Liam Hemsworth, a little more Jeff Goldblum, and we even get a peek at Steve Hiller's (Will Smith) son all grown up alongside former President Thomas J. Whitmore's (Bill Pullman) daughter, and a possible female president / leader of the entire Earth. Oh, there's also planet-threatening extraterrestrials.
