AT&T

AT&T announces continued LGBTQ+ support with “Turn Up The Love” campaign that includes a LGBTQ+ and allies music festival, LOVELOUD, and $200,000 donation campaign.

This year the AT&T Turn Up the Love Campaign returns bigger and bolder, partnering with LGBTQ+ organizations including GLAAD, LOVELOUD Foundation, The Trevor Project and OutFest. It's a one-of-a-kind initiative that delivers events and entertainment to promote acceptance and deliver support for LGBTQ+ youth. The tentpole is LOVELOUD music festival, back for a third year, building on the brand's long-standing allyship for the LGBTQ since 1975.

The LOVELOUD festival is the ultimate queer music festival that has a mission to support LGBTQ+ youth organizations. Proceeds of the festival will benefit local and national LGBTQ+ charities including The Trevor Project, GLAAD, The Human Rights Campaign, Tegan And Sara Foundation and others.

If you can't attend the festival, no need to fret because AT&T is presenting the live stream on Twitter Saturday, June 29th starting at 6pm MST. Just head over to the Twitter Page, @ATT.

The LOVELOUD Festival celebrates its third year, coming back with a bigger more star-studded lineup. This year's festival will bring nearly 30,000 people to USANA Amphitheater in Salt Lake City on June 29th to raise $1 million for Dan Reynolds' LoveLoud Foundation, whose mission is to unconditionally love, understand, support and accept LGBTQ+ friends and family.

Dan Reynolds is the talented lead singer of the Grammy-winning band, Imagine Dragons. "LOVELOUD is back again this year and stronger than ever," Reynolds said in a statement. "We are excited to celebrate our LGBTQ+ youth through music and spoken word. My hope is that they feel loved, accepted and perfect just the way they are. I invite all the political and religious leaders of Utah to join us as we show our LGBTQ+ youth that they are not just loved, but truly accepted and appreciated."

Other headlining performers include Kesha, Tegan and Sara, Daya, and K Flay! Hit maker and Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Kesha shared her excitement to headline the festival. "I'm truly honored and humbled to be headlining LOVELOUD this year. This festival has done so many wonderful things to help the LGBTQ+ community over the past few years and is a wonderful, loving, and fun safe space, so I hope to see you all come out for LOVELOUD this summer!"

AT&T also invites our readers to use #TURNUPTHELOVE on Twitter to help support LOVELOUD. By using the hashtag on June 29th and June 30th, AT&T will donate $1 per use of the hashtag to charity, up to $200,000. This is already in addition to AT&T's major support of LOVELOUD Fest. Let's all use the #TURNUPTHELOVE hashtag to encourage AT&T to spend even more of their money on bettering our community!

AT&T has a long history of promoting diversity, inclusion, and prohibiting discrimination. Since 1975, AT&T has been an advocate of equality for LGBTQ+ people by implementing corporate policies that protected people from being discriminated against because of their sexuality. AT&T adopted one of the first domestic partner benefits programs for LGBTQ+ employees. They also were one of the first U.S. corporations to offer transgender-inclusive health care benefits, and have continued their support throughout the past 44 years.

Use #TURNUPTHELOVE on Twitter between 12:01AM on 6/29, and 11:59PM on 6/30/19, and AT&T will donate $1 to LOVELOUD up to a maximum donation of $200,000.
