This '80s Remix of Dua Lipa's 'New Rules' is Flawless

First of all, if you haven't drunkenly walked down a street singing along to Dua Lipa's iconic song "New Rules," have you ever lived? The undisputed best song (and best video) of the year from the English pop star has been on heavy rotation for months but now it's somehow gotten even better thanks to an '80s-era remix.

Thanks to Tokyo-based producer Initial Talk, we now have undisputed proof that "New Rules" is timeless and would've undoubtedly been Richard Simmon's go-to workout song. In the new version, heavy SFX drums and sharp synths play out over the familiar lyrics about those rules we're still trying to adhere too.
